As Artificial Intelligence rapidly reshapes economies, societies, and human relationships, critical questions around ethics, responsibility, governance, and human values have become more urgent than ever. This August, Samanvaya will convene AI in India, a four-part online dialogue exploring the ethical, social, cultural, and philosophical dimensions of Artificial Intelligence from an Indian perspective.
Bringing together a diverse group of technologists, thinkers, philosophers, writers, public intellectuals, and influencers, the dialogue series will create a space for deep reflection, informed debate, and the emergence of new perspectives. Participants will examine not only the opportunities presented by AI, but also the profound questions it raises about humanity, equity, knowledge, decision-making, and the future of society.
This initiative builds on a successful stakeholder dialogue organized by Samanvaya in 2024, which brought together voices from multiple sectors to explore the implications of AI in the Indian context. The process generated valuable insights and culminated in the development of a position paper that continues to inform ongoing conversations on AI and ethics.
